Default Catted DP & smog

I was wondering if anyone in the bay area has gone for a smog with a catted DP has gone for a smog and what the results were?

I think a lot of people usually just throw their OEM exhaust & Downpipe on and go get it smogged.

Curious to see if anyone has done it with the catted downpipe though and managed to pass.

It wont pass the visual inspection unless the tech is a moron, or doesn't care.

I went for it, and passed at 2500 RPM, but failed at idle.
100 was the max allowed, I posted a 127.

K & N Typhoon Intake (has a C.A.R.B. #)
ERZ Performance Catted Downpipe (they were not OK with this, no C.A.R.B. #)
Tsudo N1 Catback (they didn't care about the cat back )

Stage 2 Open Source Tune on an 09 WRX

I'm going back in soon with stock settings, stock intake, and stock DP.
