Default 602hp 514tq Cosworth Stroker with GT35r - TimeAttack Killer

This car was built for Time Attack so I kept the boost to a max peak of 27psi with a small tapper to 26psi by redline for his high boost limit. I am very impressed with this setup for making so much power at such a "low boost". Had this car been built for drag racing I wouldn't even flinch at turning it up to 30+ psi. Even still on 23psi this car was over 540whp, which is what I would expect him to run except for the timed sessions where he can run the high boost map.

Oh yeah and this is in a lighter GC8 Chassis.

Its a full Cosworth Stroker motor with a Custom GT35r using a Tial .63ar hotside. It would have spooled faster but on this car the AVCS is not enabled so the spool and tq is a bit down. I would expect to see a 500-600rpm faster spool once th AVCS is working which would just be crazy.

I am continually amazed by these Tial Housings, time and time again they have shown to be proven winners.

Runs were made on Q16 race gas 27psi peak, tappering to 26psi at 7k with an 11.8 afr.

Mods:

Cosworth Stroker Longblock
GT35r with .63ar tial hotside
Perrin FMIC
Version 8 Intake Manifold
UEL Header
3" Turbo back Exh
Autronic SM4
1200cc injectors
Custom Fuel rails
Aeromotive FPR
Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump
ATL Fuel Cell
PPG 5spd Dogbox

Take care,

I would like to send a HUGE thank you to TOPSPEED and Doug and Scott for the tune and kind words. As always they amaze me at their ability and capabilities with their outstanding tunes! We built this car at REV-TECH racing in Warner Robins, Georgia and have once again created a MONSTER. Cant wait to see what she;ll do on the track!

Hey doug, do you know which cams he ran? also was this with standard cam gears? all you mentioned is AVCS not being hooked up.
Just wondering what was left on the table

Should be a sick, mod class car.

BTW.. just took the car out on the street to verify the tune. Didn't run more than 23psi and the car is just nutty fast. First gear you go WOT and it just lights up all 4, then grab 2nd without lifting because of the dogbox and i gets sideways. Needless to say I refuse to run the high boost map till he gets some decent tires on it... LOL

We just went for a ride on the street with the customer's junky street tires. WOW! 1st is useless at WOT. It spins all 4 HARD at the top of 2nd and keeps them spinning when you flick the throttle to snap 3rd (no clutch on the dog-box )

Definitely the fastest Subaru I've ever been on the street in...

Is there any reason that you continue to use the .63 hotside vs the .82 hotside? Is this only for TA or do you recommend this for drag vehicles as well.

Great numbers btw....still watching the vendor announcments day by day to check for your CNC'd heads to be released.

Please>>>>>try not to break the car! LOL
Yeah the tire on it are strictly for engine break in as we are not ruining slick on the strret, we run a 245/35/18 kumho v-710 R compound on the track with SSR competion 18X8.5. Still not enough tire but damn if it aint cramped in a GC8 chassis. Looks like custom widebody time to me!

do you mind revealing the timing your running at peak load and redline?

just curious what's considered "safe" for a track car

thanks
