For sure! Having got the blue lettering I think I should have done red or just black. There is a lot of red on the back of the car (lights). Anyways, it's not bad.

Next up is lowering. There is a company called SWIFT coming out with spring but they only lower 3/4" which visually will hardly make a difference. If it was 1.5" I would totally do it. Anyways, next option is stock '08WRX stuff but I think it will lower too much and not really improve the ride. So, I may be heading towards DMS coilovers for the WRX because then I can lower something closer to 2". We'll see.

I didn't realize it wasn't a one way street all the way....otherwise it would have been legal. I did see a WRX wagon...I think on the bridge. Was deep in thought though so didn't pay much attention. Sorry!

Ah ha, I know. I've lived in Vancouver all my life, was just a bit out of it that day and in a bit of a rush. The dumb thing is that the next light down Hornby is timed to the advanced left so I end up exactly where I would have been had I waited. Next time I will send you a nod!

Hopefully I can sort out suspension options soon. I'm getting ANTSY!

Is your car modded? I just sort of saw you in my rearview but it looked lowered with wider tires....but that may have just been the angle and bikes on the roof.

Also saw a nice blue suby today with black wheels that I may have sold to the dude, but forgot his name.

I have a 2009 Forester XT (Blk) on the way thanks to 6th Gear.

I have some 18x8 Formula Mesh in Hyper Black on the way wrapped in 255's.

I am researching suspension options but plan on coilovers and Rear Sway Bar.

I will of course take a trip up to Rocket once the car is broken in for a downpipe and tune....maybe get talked into something else.

Also have the mesh grill, front bumper spoiler and rear wing on the way.

Will post pics when I get the car.

I'm back baby!

You sold me black wheels but it looks like all of the wheels you get seem to be black. The way it should be

I saw your car on main street today. It looks pretty nice --The base model looks too suv-y for me but the f-xt is alright. I should test drive one.

Yeah, I was at Voltage. I'm really happy with it and once it is dropped a bit and get some more power I think it will be the perfect all-arounder.

I can honestly say it is the best all-around purchase I have ever made, and it is an auto, I've never had an auto but I love driving it.

Hey tora, with the new wheel/tire set-up, are you still getting a crap load of body roll?

GWIM, the wheels and tires won't make body roll any better as they have nothing to do with the suspension. In fact I would say it makes body roll more noticeable as they are stickier allowing me to take corners faster causing more lean/roll. That being said, I put on Whiteline front and rear adjustable sway bars which have made a huge improvement. I also have a set of Forester specific coilovers on order.

Do you have the part numbers and/or where you ordered them from? How much did they (sway-bars) run you?

I am trying to keep my modding costs near 0, but I am seriously considering trying to fix the body roll asap. I took a few long trips with people, and had at least 3 people complain that they felt car sick so far. I've only had the Forester since late September. Hopefully, if I fix the huge amounts of body rolling, and that will help minimize car sick passengers.

After that, try to figure out a way to keep the SPT exhaust from filling the interior with its loud highway droning.

As for the tires, they're not great, but they feel far better than the terrible Potenza RE-92s that the Legacy came with. The Geolanders are acceptable, and not high priority for me at this point.

Nice ride Tora. I think I've seen you around town. Glad to know there are other FXT enthusiasts out there. Was checking out your other replies and I see you are gonna go to RR for a DP and tune. I'm heading there myself next month for a RR catted DP, but no tune at the moment (hard $$$ times) I'll just settle with my OTS Cobb Stage 2 map for the time being. =(

But yeah...wondering if you know any other FXT owners who would gather for a meet in the Lowermainland. Neways i'm usually lurking around sf.org.

BTW, any major differences btw an 09 sportshift 4eat and an 08 4eat?
