Default Is it time to put the wheels and suspension back in?

Feb 14th has always been the day that I shake off the cobwebs of winter, and put the summer wheels and suspension bits back on the car. The snow is gone, and aside from cold nights, the temps are rising.

What do you think? I know that I'm done with this winter crap. Bring on teh sun!

The turbo is sitting there on the shelf waiting for injectors. The mail is slow this week.

I was thinking of putting the ewg setup on though. After seeing my iwg duty cycles on the laptop last night, I'm starting to think Pat was right about the turbo being overported. 90%wdc at 80% throttle?!? Something ain't right with that... especially when you consider the oem was set at 50% duty cycle in the same column.

Also, my boost guage reads 17psi, but the datalogs peak at 13psi.

wierd stuff.
Suspension is easier, so that will go on first.

I always put my summers on around this time, as Feb 14th is when I picked my WRX up, two years ago. Holy crap, 2 years already.

Mind you, I usually end up putting the snows back on a week later....

I got a screw in my winters last night I might be putting my summers back on today because of it.

http://www.theweathernetwork.com/fourteenday/cabc0308

Next 2 weeks looks like mostly sun, but the temps are between 5-10C which is a bit cold for summers IMO. Also, it looks like possible snow/rain on Feb.27/28.

Yeah I'd like to have my multispokes back....but wouldn't they look cool in gold?

You're going to powdercoat your forged BBS'? Don't tell the Gallery forum, they'll lynch you

Gold would be a cool change for the wheels.
As for the gallery, yawn. I don't care much for other opinions anyway. Except whether or not I should put my wheels on...

Hey, me too.
Can we be friends?

really though, I wanted to do it since the end of January. The weather down here has had other ideas though.
I guess if it snows, or they're spraying for ice, I can just drive the truck.

I really want to put mine on so I can go drive my favorite roads and really get a feel for the differance the mounts/bushings and rear sway I put on made.. but I also think it might snow again and I'm sure the RE070 are useless in the cold/snow... going to have to wait

I'll put my summers back on but carry my snow tires on board just in case its snows again or when I drive to whistler.
I think my roof rack can handle 1 wheel and my hatch can put 2ea and back seat 1ea.
