Default Help me name this town..

Okay so last year I went on a road trip to California from NJ, wound up in foster city for a day or so then drove down the PCH-1 and spent the remainder of my trip in orange county.

on the way down the pch my friend and i stopped at this mexican restaurant that was right on the ocean front. it was VERY expensive but very good. i dont remember the name of the town it was in since i could barely understand the waiter but i do remember there was a hotel next tothe restaurant and one right across the PCh-1.

i believe it was before SLO or alittle bit after..i dont really remember at all since it was a 12 hour drive and we stopped so manytimes to take pictures and whatnot.

Can anyone help me?? I really want to know the name of this place because I want to go back sometime next january for a few days.

def wasnt pismo cause i drove out onto the beach..it was a pretty desolate place in the middle of the coast id say.

i remember passing some castle like building out in the hills, or atleast the signs for it. and it was right off the pch-1.. hmm
