Thanks guys, it was a mess when I got it. To many broken panels and cracked corners. Fixed it right up and lots of sanding.

My buddy owns a paint shop in Arlington if anyone needs work.

Will be at MSRC this Saturday working. I won't be riding yet, still got to stick the seat on the bike and guards on the tank. Need to wait a little while for the clear coat to sit.

I wasn't trying to sound rude. I guess you understand.
I don't see a lot of Harleys I like. Mostly cause of Brakes, suspension and overall power but I really like yours. I would have to remove the logo or risk ridicule from friends.

Yeah I understand haha...all those things are easily upgradeable though, and I like power in cars not motorcycles. I was already hit by a drunk driver 3 years ago at 35mph and it was bad enough.I have no reason to go over 80mph on a motorcycle.

Don't think the Harley sportster bobber is a slouch. No, its not a super sport. But it is super sexy.

I've ridden with a few in the Houston area and haven't exactly left them in the dust. Def get some crazy eyed looks when I rode my GSXR next to my buddy's black and orange bobber.

If anybody knows someone looking for a beginner bike I'll be letting go of my 09 Ninja 500R pretty soon. Standard bike so the position is easy to handle comfortably. Pulled all of the fairings off because it was ugly when I bought it, mounted a single Hella HID for light and bar end mirrors. Factory gauge cluster is still on it and mounted on my headlight bracket near stock position.

Its a reliable booger but I'd rather sell it to be ridden since I'm never on it.

Yeah I wouldn't compare it to a sportbike. I just don't understand how they are so expensive? I've been pricing old cruises to build a cafe at some point in time. Can't decide if I want a single thumper, vertical twin or a inline 4.

Sportsters are fairly cheap, My 2011 brand new was 7,999. You can find many very nice low milage ones for anywhere from 3k up, for mid to late 2000 model years.

How many miles and what would you want for it? I may know someone that would want to track it.

It's got 24,000 on it. The shop here said they would sell it for 5000 so somewhere close to that.

Anyone know a good shop on the south side of Houston that can do some work on my street bike? Some one who does good work and won't rape me on price.
