I think that alot of the guys that posted in this thread are planning on going to Atco on Saturday morning. Gates open at 9 and the weather looks good at low 40's and partly cloudy.

You didn't miss much. It was me, a DSM, a couple hondas and some domestics out today. There was only probably 15 cars running, it was nice to be able to hot lap though.

Damn, 114 is hauling! I should have gone to Etown, it was a pain launching at Atco. It was either do a burnout to have a chance at getting all of the water off the tires or spin like crazy. I did manage to beat my best time, not by much though.

12.487@109.45, I'll post the slip up in my old thread soon. It did go 5.1 to the 330 and 7.9 in the 1/8th, but definitely needs to be cleaned up where I "tuned" things.

Awsome Dave, way to be. The plan was Atco, but we were on the dyno late last night for a brand new tune. So we left early for E-town this morning. Ill probably post a thread, but here is the basic run down.

First pass I went 12.3 @ 113.2 with a 1.99 60ft

Then 12.18,12.12,12.13

Then 12.10

All 113-114, all 60ft's 1.85-1.90

It was 40 degrees, all 60fts were spinnnnnnnning. I got all runs on video too.

Nice, I'm in, put me on your list, just let me know the day and cost. This will be a weekday right?

I checked up on my wagon at the bodyshop friday. It had some paint on the front end parts, just needs clear and buffed out now. I expect to have it out next weekend at Etown.

Thanks Mikey, and man all your car needs is traction for easy 11's. With lots of traction, it could be mid 11's! Its just crazy with so few mods.

My cuz recorded your run with the red gto. Traction was good. I had all 4 corners at 18psi. Would not go lower than that. P.S Is mike from yonkers with the evo ix se comming? He does not pick up his phone. LOL

Heres your vid with that gto. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oL9Y-...e=channel_page

18psi!! I was running 30, i guess that was my problem right there, lol. Mikey is having issues with his map. He needs to completely retune it, and will probably get out once or twice this season. He is a great driver, I was with him when he broke 11's for the first time, all the way to his 1.5 60ft's and 11.5x's.

That GTO looked mean with the huge pipes and black rims. The burnout was puny, but I thought He would reel me in. 6.0 liters trappin 101 with a 14.2........................

What are your mods??

Looking forwar to seeing your car run this weekend, be well.

-mikey

Those GTO dont impress me at all. I like the original. My mods are, intake, tbe, cams, licp, uicp, mbc at 25psi. Mike is a awsome driver. I don't know how his drivetrain can take all those 1.5 60ft he does. We should line up this weekend. It should be a good race.

I have no idea how his drivetrain does it either. To me, it feels like its going to break, ever since I drove the car when it was a baby. I guess its just the different feel an evo gives. When I first got my race gas tune, the stock clutch gave way shifting fifth. Mike felt bad and threw me the keys. I threw them right back becasue I figured with how I shift I would destroy something. Nonetheless, the car is just as amazing as he is a driver.
Hopefully he'll be back in action soon.
