It's definitely a 2001 STi. It's got AC. It's a 6spd tranny. I don't know how they designate Spec C, but it's definitely not an RA.

lmao oh damn i didn't mean so say that the engine is MINE, i was quoting from the webpage:

Quote:
"I have a EJ207DW3CR 2LTR STI Engine for sale from a 2001 bugeye only done 60000miles still in vehicle & can be driven to test sounds superb & drive fantasic,
only ever run on Silkolene pro oil.

can be sold with ancillarys you require.

take the oportunity hear the engine before you buy.

offers around 2000

also a 6 speed gearbox would do a deal if both were purchased together.

interested or need more info phone 07775877864"
from this page:

http://www.scoobynet.co.uk/archive/i.../t-733149.html

that isn't me, that was just a page that i found when i was doing a google search for ej207dw3cr.

i wish i had an engine like that haha, but i'm sorry to whoever misinterpreted my quote-- i was quoting from a page i found, i didn't mean to say that I have an engine for sale.

sorry if i made it look like i had that engine for sale, i was just copying and pasting all info i could find on that engine code.

Hahaha. It's OK. I have a few engines and clips that I can pick from. The trouble is in finding the best one for the price as well as verifying what is listed...which is why I am asking everyone to decipher the tag.

According to the link you posted that transmission came in BOTH the STI and STI-RA. How do you know the difference?

It can't be a spec c because it's a rev. A.
