Winslow and I were talking to a salesman at Honda today that was just talking about that car. I tried to sell him my stock wing for his RSX, but he did not go for it.

It is unique though....

I guess the guy is like 50 or 60 or something, at least that is what the guy at Honda said.

I know a guy in Fairbanks that drives a Red S4, with license plate: "NOSLUG" but he's super cool and I doubt he'd be looking for a race in Anchorage.

Sounds like there are a few of those drivers on this forum who like to race A4's and tell their buddies they "smoked an S4"...

And smoked an S8?

Hmm, add to the list, please... This is getting interesting.

Yea, cause we all know the real S4's are the fasting thing on 4 wheels.

You do realize his car isn't stock.

Even so, mod for mod an S4 will hand a WRX its ass. With a $500 chip, its in the 12's. Nothing else changed.

You do realize that chicks wouldn't give a WRX a second glance if it were sitting next to a imola yellow or nogaro blue S4 don't you?

Regardless of speed.

Eby, my point is that the immaturity one expects to see at a lot of online car forums doesn't go unnoticed just because it's expected.

d00d, i smoked a 911 Turbo! I roxor, you suxor! I'm l33t!

Regardless of the maturity level, I can still believe he beat those cars. Mod for mod, an S4 would be faster. However, most people don't mod their cars. So chances are he raced a stock S4 and S8. Both of which would be fairly easy to mod a WRX to beat.

Code-7. Which chicks would you rather attract? The money hungry S4 chicks, or the rally loving WRX chicks?

Both .

So who does he know that owns a S8. As far as I know there is only one in town . There is a chipped S4 now in Anchorage, I work with the lady that owns it. She is with the SCCA, and that car is fast. It only has a chip and it does 12.8 1/4 miles. So look out for a Red S4.

Well said, Eby. Glad we could avoid a pointless flame war.

People who race their cars on Northern Lights make me laugh.

A real race would occur on a closed course, not dodging potholes and rednecks in Z71's in Anchorage, AK.

I'm not one of those car loyalists, whatsoever.

I'm actually going to sell my car. I've had a blast for 3 years.

If anybody is interested, or knows anybody interested, let me know.

Hmmm, I wonder if I parked next to an S4 which car the chicks would look at?

Even a stock S4 and a stock WRX would be a close race. I think it would be down to the driver.

Did some reasearch and stock the S4 is pulling Low 14's, what does a Stock WRX pull? I am guessing Mid to High 14's. But that is just a guess

Most magazines got mid 14's for the WRX. One got a 14.1.

Mirezzi, to bad you're selling your car. They're pretty sweet, a little on the heavy side though. What are you replacing it with.

Nothing special. I don't even know yet.

Once having driven the S4, I will not enter the fast car category again until I can get something faster.

That being said, it will likely be something practical.

It's not that much a shame, anyhow. I drove it for 3 reall f_ _ _in fun years.

Question

a black S4 was tryin to race me on minnesota once. he kept goin really fast and lining up next to me. so i decided to take off when he did. when we take off i pull away in third gear, but he keeps up.

anyways the red one i saw was an old guy. i was just drivin home mindin my own business and he stops next to me and he stares me down and revvs his engine. and it didn't sound stock so when the light turns green he launches expecting me to follow.

maybe that guy with the black S4 wasnt trying, i didn't expect to pull away when we raced. i know that red one would beat me really bad maybe it will be different when i get some parts.
