Default EJ20G V1 STI-RA Valve Specs

My Machinist called my mechanic looking for the valve specs so he can check my heads. They only have info for 02+ WRX Turbo heads. They need to check clearances etc... I dont know **** about heads lol

Does anybody have this info?

The heads are from a V1 1995 STI-RA EJ20G

Thanks!

-Jeff

****. I don't anyone with V1 STi-RA, or else I could get them with a couple of phone calls.

Pray that V2 are identical? I'll see what I can come up with but could take a few days.

I don't have the FSM supplement for that car. I've got the base FSM for that year but I don't think it will be the same. PM Marnix. He might have it. He's in Europe, so account for the time difference in how long it will take him to reply.

You can use the specs for MY95-96 USDM EJ25D as the head castings and valve sizes are the same.

There is no 95 US EJ25D the first year for that here was 96. Also the 96 had hydraulic lifters. Isn't the sti ra solid lifters?

This is one of those questions I am still looking for someone to provide a definitive answer.

JeffWRX,
Can you post some pictures of your buckets. In particular we would like to see the insides of them where they press against the valve stem.

Irrespective of HLA or solid lifters the castings are the same, both lifter types are 30.00 mm in diameter and again, valve sizes are the same.
