Default only 6psi? i had 12...

well i drove my car... and desided to go WOT.... i was in 2nd... at 3K RPMs... stomped on it... and got up to 5.5k.... and my boost held at 6psi... so i thought maybe i should go higher in Rpms... 2nd again.. starting at 3k... WOT...got up to 6k... and still boost only at 6psi...

it usually pulls Harder and harder... but once it it 6psi... it kinda leveled out... pulled slightly...

and insight?
i was thinking maybe waste gate was opening too early...

BTW its ej20g... 94 wrx. only exhaust...td05.. . and lil intake... it used to pull hard.... but idk.. ill try it again... on the highway..

Do you have the restrictor pill in the right line? I had the same problem and thats what fixed it for me. I dunno if this will help or not. But something to try.

You might have a boost leak... You shouldnt be seeing 6psi of boost. Any more info... do you have a front mount? Are you hearing any whistling noise then the turbo spools?

well i drove it again and everything is fine... idk why... i did the SAME exact thing... pulled to 6k... and it went to 12psi... i smiled. and did it again to double check... and it worked again... idk what was wrong with it... i got really worried...

but so far everything works now... idk...

Limp Mode. My car was doing that as well when it wasn't running good. The car won't boost over 5-6psi. Happened also when I unhooked my O2 sensor. After a bit of driving or resetting the ECU the car started hitting full boost again. You may have an issue that caused it or were you possibly working on the car while it was running eg unplugging sensors or anything like that before you drove it?

As above. I get this sometimes when I get crappy gas and the car detects to much knock or becomes too lean. Turn the car off/on to reset it or after a bit of driving (10-15minutes) it resets.
