Default 1998 2.5RS spark plug wire issue.

I've searched and haven't found much.

I have a 98 RS that I need to replace the wires on. I ordered a set of NGKs (Fx50) which are supposed to fit, but I found that the coil side is to small to fit into the coil. (which is female BTW).
Now my car has a lot of work done (sti shortblock balh blah blah), so I'm not sure if my coilpack is different (Diamond F569) or there is a difference in the 98's coil packs.

Anyone have any experience with this? The NGKs come with 2 wires that are bent 90 degrees (on the coil side) and 2 that are straight. I currently have magnacor wires which are ALL straight. One of the magnacor wires broke (weeE) so I can't drive the car anywhere and I'd like to have this resolved soon.

ideas?

that is what subaruparts.com and some other site say as well, but they didn't fit at all..way to small. Unless I"m a retart and can't figure out how to put them on From what I understand, I pull off the old ones, and plug in the new ones. The new ones would require a lot of messing with to get the plastic up on the coilpack.
