That is true. However, I was referring to the weather stripping on the outside. They have to cut the tint on the outside of the window and shrink it. Then they apply it on the inside. Just to clarify, the slice is on the outside of the car.

Ok, I understand. Since its on the exterior, and definitely visible, I'd make a fuss.

Florida. 28% all around. 3M ceramic.

I've always been bothered by differing tint levels front and back on the other cars I've owned. I decided on this car that I'd stay legal while keeping the car uniform. I'm very pleased.

They look so much better than the STi wheels that come on the hatch.

Anyone have a 2011+ WRX WRB Hatch with 35% front and something darker on the rear windows? Thanks!

I'll contribute a shot with a two-tone body color for anyone with an OBS or Legacy. I think it's 20-30%, previous owner had it installed. Really does keep the car cooler, and the back seats are private

20% 3M Color Stable all around w/ front windshield strip.
Normally I do 5-10% rear and 35% front. I wanted something a little more cleaner all around. Plus with limo tint in the rear it can sometimes be a pain backing into spots.

I know this thread hasn't been active for a while, but figured I'd ask here.

What is everyone's take on doing the entire windshield in a tint such as 50%. I've had strips on the top on all my cars, but never had the windshield done until I bought a used beater. Night driving sucked because the headlights were horrible, but the cut down from oncoming lights was nice.

I know the Michigan laws well and have a written script along with a note from the SS saying I can have tinted windows with written recommendation.

Not the greatest pics, and I have no idea what the % is as I got the car with 7k miles and the previous owner did the tint...

All the windows are tinted except the windshield.

Car color is Dark Grey Metallic. I had to look at his profile, the color seemed Plasma Blue to me for some reason.
