Well, may as well throw my tint into the ring. Did it myself, came out pretty well for having no idea what I was doing.

Less metallic and also gives a more matte look. Less interference with radio signals if you use a radar detector, gps, etc. The one I got is made by SunTek.

This is the only good pic I have at the moment, this was before I bought the car, but its still the same tint. 35% all the way around minus the front windshield it just has, I believe a 5% bar.

The carbon tint is much better at blocking the heat--thus, if your goal is to reduce the heat in your car, the carbon tint is the way to go. I forget the exact comparison, but 35% carbon tint reduces heat same as 10% or 20% regular tint.

The reason hieu1004 mentioned the facts about 'less metallic' and 'less interference', is that prior to carbon tints, tints with some level of metal where used to reject heat. As hieu1004 mentions, the downside to metallic tints is that interfer with radio signals, etc.

blacked out and glad I did it - it's a huge relief since we have sun almost year round

as for cops, been pulled over once for my exhaust and he never said anything about the tint. Did have me open the hood and asked me if my intake was aftermarket, I think the wrinkle red threw him off his game.

Anyway, I'm sure I'll be peeling one of these days

Going to do the front windows at the end of the year. Along with double stack the tinting, if possible, at top of the front windshield. It will stay the size it is right now, same size, just want it darker. Mainly since I sit so low, I don't really look through that part of the windshield anymore.

Yes sir.

I cannot remember where I bought them but I purchased an extra set (in my garage somewhere) because despite how it looks, I did a sub par job putting them on and thought I would eventually redo it more carefully the second time around. You really cannot see the jagged edges unless you look carefully but I always seem to notice it

If you would like to know where to get them, I can run down to my garage and find them for you.
