Tint was on it when I bought it, the 3rd time a cop pulled me over we tested it at 5% all around.

This is the perfect thread, what have people found to be an acceptable for Pennsylvania? I know if varies by township/cop. But what are people finding a safe tint for all around?

Looks good. Did they install 35%, or was the combination of the original and the tint 35%?

5% in the back and 50% in the front. We'll see how long this lasts.

$120 won't feel too bad if I have to take the fronts off.

35% on the front and rear doors, then 20% in the back wagon part. these pics really don't show it all that well, but it is nice to have it darker in the back storage area.

Here's my 07 STI Ltd.
35% ALL the way around (including windshield and moonroof):

This is the 4th car I've owned (since 2000) that has a tinted windshield, and not once has any cop ever made mention of it! On a side note, these pics were taken before I swapped my Tails for 04's! I forgot how ugly the 06-07 tails were!

My window tint was the first thing to come off when I bought my car. I like being able to see when I drive at night.

^You must have bad vision or something, because I don't have a problem with my 35%.

In the city I don't have a problem with it. However, try using your 35% tint out in the country (where it is pitch black outside) to back up an 1/8 mile through a curvy driveway every night. I bet you would get sick of your tint real fast.

Hey now, it is fact that the a-pillar obstructs a drivers vision. I went from driving a sport bike 24/7 where I had literally zero vision obstructions to driving a car 24/7. Maybe the a-pillars just annoyed me more because I was used to having nothing in my field of vision and that is why I noticed such a huge difference taking off the plastic trim pieces. I love it. Now if I could only make the rest of the a-pillars see-through i would be really happy .
