Default Headlight clearing..who's pro?

I want to get the big yellow plastic piece out of my headlights. I remember there was someone who was doing it for members for a reasonable price. I'd like to do it on my new Forester...so if that person is here and is still doing it and would like to do the Forester let me know!

I'm in Van., but my parents wouldn't look too kindly on me using their oven for that- it'd stink like glue. In Vic, I don't care

Minifreak will do a great job with it though

minifreak is damn skilled at this. He made mine look exactly how I envisioned them, and if he has the time to do yours, jump at the opportunity.

If Paul is doing it, well...... okay then. Just beware of his trunk monkey.

Thanks everyone, been in touch with the master. Mod, you can close this thread if you'd like. My question has been answered. Minifreak = YES, Armpaul = NO.

Minifreak doesn't really do it as a business, as he's a pretty busy guy.
Your best bet is to pm him direct, and see what he has to say.

Another option, if you have the ability for downtime, is to send your lights out to Cesar at lightwerks. He is the king of conversions, and has some seriously badass ideas on making them look unique.

tora, if minifreak does your lights, be sure to pick up some new sealant. He has the part number, and it's available from Lordco. I was going to get him some, but it never came to fruition. Just remind him, and it will ensure that your lights won't leak. I went all winter with mine, with no leaks. Second time sealing was the clincher.

I'm into my 3rd year with my OEM sealant post-clearing without issues.

veightkiller opened and closed my housings, I did the painting. Krylon FTW.

I also have mine done for almost 3 years now with lots of mileage parked outside without any problem.

After having opened some many headlight one thing I noticed is that the OEM glue sometimes aren't dispensed as evenly as I would have liked. And those are the headlights that leak no matter how careful you when putting them back together.
