Default Anyone use Muteki lug nuts?

Anyone use these?

http://www.evasivemotorsports.com/me...tegory_Code=L1

An theft took my wheel lock key from a B+E

If someone uses this model lug nut,
I want to ask if I can borrow your key for a day?
I 'think' for this model, the key's the same.

Otherwise, I guess I'll either force them out with ninja skills and buy another set.

Thanks in advance.

I used to have them (Muteki lug nuts) in my used bugeye...

1st, poor quality...
2nd, some nuts are always loosen after while no matter I hand-tighted them, or using compact guns...

Not recommended. Go for Rays, or WORKS nuts.., or Stock FTW...

I have only had mine for a week but no issues at all. I had a set previously for about a year and also no issues. If Semaj Allcock gives them approval then they is good.

^ well, I guess the problem was caused by my detective Muteki lug nuts then , not Myself...

btw, I have visited the Muteki manufacturer in Taiwan 2 years ago, and I personally would not use them again, simply I would have more confidence in the stock nuts than Muteki ...

Just curious, to anyone that bought the Muteki lugs in colors, how is the finish?

I've seen lots of crappy lugs with their finish just peeling away, how does it withstand after a couple times of taking the lugs on/off from your wheel changes?

Thanks

Mine are relatively new so not sure about the lasting power.
I was VERY impressed with Splinedrives and I made a LOT of wheel changes.
They are expensive but well worth it. We'll see how these bad boys hold out.

Most tire places have a universal key,
if there is one with good customer service, they might just let you use theirs

any dealer SHOULD have a universal. (Wolfe subaru in langley does for sure)

1) you should never use a gun to tighten tuner nuts for various reasons

2) not all of us are ballers and can afford to spend $200 on works nuts

3) you cant use stock nuts on most wheels because the cone is different

Whoa, the thread got bumped. Thanks for the offers from Tora and Jeff54.

When I first posted asking if anyone had a key, my intentions were to get my nuts off :P and get different ones.

But after looking around, I decided that I would simply get another muteki set. Therefore not needing to borrow a key there after.

I ended up getting another set from Garage5.
They hooked me up 50$ for the set. sweet!
good guys there too.
