Default How to check transmission fluid on 08+ sti?

I know you can never search enough and yada yada yada I am a newbe for life... I have searched very hard and can not figure out how you can accurately check the trans fluid on an 08+ sti? Can you use a dipstick from an older sti to check it? I am having very bad neutral transmission shudder and would love to know if my fluid level is low from the factory. For all of you that are not familiar with 08+ sti trans there is no dipstick from the factory... Thanks

Yeah....you can't. I don't know why the hell subaru did that. We have thought about retrofitting the older dip stick, but don't know if the sleeve will fit the hole.

thanks for the reply... I was wondering if you guys every changed your trans fluid and if it helped with the neutral shudder that happens when the car is cold and the clutch is not depressed? Please let me know if you are able to find out how to put in the old sti dipstick to check the fluid. Does it say in the new service manual how to check the trans fluid? How do subaru dealers check the level? Thanks a bunch. Please help there has to be any 08, 09 sti owners out there that want to know how to check their trans fluid.
