^ Your story sounds identicle to mine, I have 3 sons 25,21,and 18 all jealous as he!!. I have a 07 STI with a Cosworth engine, and the wife has a 06 GTO with over 400 whp. They all come around to try to borrow the cars when they have a hot date, but when good Old Dad needs something done around the house they are no where to be found ! Age is just a number I love sports cars and always will, as long as I can still get in and out the drivers door I will keep driving them.

32 yrs/old. My ride:

I am currently Cobb Stage 1. I have the Perrin Stage 1 map as well. I currently have no plans in the near future to go Stage 2. It was a hard enough talking my wife into allowing the AP.

Very nice car sir...very nice indeed, and your wife is so damn lucky having the goat. The GTO was my other choice of rides, but I chose the Subaru for it's reliability, and I haven't been disaopponted as of yet. Here's to "as long as I can still get in and out the drivers door I will keep driving them."

I turn 30 on the 30th of this month!! Of course if had know back in 2001, i would of waited and bought a WRX instead of that honda prelude I bought, dumped money into and let go back to the bank in 2003. My WRX was faster than my prelude was after the 1500 I put under the hood of the honda! anyways, Never thought I'd live this long. Need to get a new camera so I can start posting picks, but im new to the subie world, buying my 05 back in August of 08, so eight months ago, I have Cobb intake, pulley, radiator shroud, front and rear shifter bushings, perrin afta maf, and suby/momo shift knob.

Plans are to go Stage 2, all Cobb, perrin turbo inlet, catch can, evoIII 16G, with tmic, injectors, followed by tein coilovers and 17" rota torque R's.

its easy to plan it all out when your broke, haha, I start my new job for the gas company on the 13th of April, hope to be stage 2 before the end of May. Except that I recently fell in love with a brand new EVO X I saw in the showroom the other day with a factory groundeffects kit. Hoping to do some exterior mod on my car too.

by the way, NICE CARS gentleman....nice. All of you, your sons should be proud! My three boys are 8, 6, and 4, and they love it when I put the throttle down and peg'em back in their backseats. They just havent realized that thats the only seat their ever going to get in,,,,,maybe the passenger.

31 and just upgraded from an 07 TR to an 07 STi limited. My ancient body needed more "creature comforts" than the TR could provide

Although, I gotta tell ya, that wouldn't be all that bad.

And mom should throw-in some of her home-cookin', while she's handing me the greenbacks, too.

I bought my first WRX, an '06 wagon, when I was 30. I'll be 33 next month, and I bought my '08 STI in November. I plan to keep the '08 much longer than 2 years.
