I am 30 and I kind of wanted a WRX but in the end it wasn't worth the extra money. I live in Canada and the prices are insane up here.

In 2-4 weeks I should have a 2010 Impreza 2.5i Sport in World Rally Blue. Tint will go on it before I even take the keys and Rally Armor flaps are in the mail. Winter tires on boring steel wheels come with it as well. My 2002 Protege 5 got stuck a couple times last winter...leaving my driveway.

Default Not a mid-life crisis - really...

46, '03 WRX wagon.

Mods: up-pipe, cat-back, then OEM muffler back on after I got stopped the second time for my "illegal" muffler. The old muffler went back on also because driving at highway speeds tended to make my and the passengers' ears ring. The cool-sounding muffler will go back on when the car goes to the track.

Also had a tuning job by Behe Performance in MD - highly recommended.

On my 5th Suby since 2002, and 3d STI. Currently own an 06 Aspen White STI with a few mods.
Gotta love the performance and handling!
My son is 28 and just picked up his first Suby, and 03 Bug eye!
Uh oh, is he going to be a Subaholic too?

43 here. I just bougt my 2002 WRX 2 weeks ago. It came with a short shift kit and I've since removed the badging on the back. The only mod I'll likely make is changing the wheels and tires. I'd rather not attract the attention.

37, bought my 03 WRX sedan in 2002 at 29. Car is paid for, and I have no intention of getting rid of it. You'd be hard pressed to come up with an offer for it that I'd take anyway.

Still bone stock, though I plan to do a brake upgrade, maybe a 2nd set of wheels.

Have considered getting an 03 wagon as a 2nd car for years to tweak on.

Honestly, I'd say half the folks I see in WRX's around here are older than me, or around my age.

36. 37 in a 3 months. got my current Subie last June. '09 WRX. simply love the car. i'm not going for the power at this point. i am going for the handling first. Whiteline rear sway and Kartboy endlinks. Kartboy short shifter and knob. hoping to get the Whiteline front sway and Kartboy front endlinks for my birthday. maybe once the warranty if all gone i start looking into the power mods.

31, just bought a bugeye wagon for cheap. Between the wife and myself we have 5 cars. I didnt "need" the wagon but the deal presented itself at the right time. Currently I'm on USDM Sti takeoff springs/shocks, Invidia DP, Cobb Stg2. I just traded for a Cobb TBE and I plan to swap out the UP when I fix the Pass side Valve cover leak. I love the fact that the majority of the Subaru ppl that I've dealt with have been extremely friendly, mature and "normal". Coming from the Honda community its a refreshing change.
