I say don't worry about what any one says with the exception of spouse or girlfriend. I am 33 with 3 boys 7,4,3. all five of us fit in my 05' wrx. Whats better than that is the boys and my wife scream FASTER,FASTER daddy every time. I love my family!!!!!!!!

I hear you on that. I wanted to get one in 02, but the company I worked at had massive layoffs. Fiber optics positions sucked after the dot com bubble burst. I've told myself I was going to get one eventually when I had a secure job and funds saved up.

31 and I got my first wrx the end of may. Staying stock until the warranty is up, then going stage 2.

34 w/Cobb adjustable short shifter, nameless axle back. Not going any farther until warranty is up. Then probably stage 2 with upgraded top mount.

i wouldnt buy another one though. i like my 2006 forester XT Turbo (automatic).

I'm tired of shifting gears, been doing it since I was 16. I'm sticking to automatics now.

39 here. I bought it about a week before my 39th, in fact. 2011 Sti WRB sedan. I've wanted this car for about six years.

My daughter loves it and thinks she is getting it. Wrong.

My wife (she's 48 ) won't drive it because she is afraid of the transmission, but she loves to ride in it and see all the people stare at us.

One thing's for sure, this car is a boy magnet. Guys from 16 to 25 are constantly asking me about it. I wouldn't get this car to get women!

seriously boys (and some men) are constantly staring at and asking/complimenting my car. I did have one lady compliment it and check it out at a gas station when it was like 15 degrees out

It's all about taste. Anything overdone will at some point look tacky. But, you have to do what you like, and when it doesn't fit anymore, make a change. Can never go wrong with updates that improve performance but aren't initially visible. Neon doesn't fit into that category : ).

I'm 35 and still feel like my modded Saabaru fits my style.

I am rewarding myself with a "soon-again" WRX purchase tomorrow

My last wrx was an 04, which I sold back in 06 because I f'd up cause I got an Automatic due to my wifey. Well................. NOT this time; 5-spd soon to come!!!!!!!!!!!! Mine, only mine and why? ...... because wifey cannot drive a standard for chit

I swear the white one is just head-turning. I had to have WRB, but white just looks so great.

The exhaust will put the baby to sleep. LEAVE IT!

My kids would fall asleep in my Cobra within 5 minutes of getting in. I guarantee it's way louder than any Subaru with the exception of rally cars with anti-lag systems.....

the Cobra.....just sold it a week ago....

My Subaru used to put my kid (who had very bad reflux) to sleep within seconds. In the wifes car, (Mazda 3 which was whisper quiet), he would freak out the entire time.
