Exactly. While I could have possibly bought something more expensive, I love being able to just pay off a $26K car in a year and just spend my extra money on mods afterwards.

^^ given the price of used wrx's that can date back to 2002, I see allot of young twenty somethings (even some older teens) driving them around.

I am about to turn 32 (married with out kids.. yet) and and although I love my 04 stage 2 wagon (had it since 2006).. I am chomping at the bit to get into a current gen FXT or if all goes well build a current gen FSTI. The wagon has 170+K miles on it and runs great, but I want something a bit more refined (especially on the inside) with more interior room for my 70 pound dog and future kids. I also do allot of car traveling and the Impreza isn't the best for touring.

Wow, I sound old, lol.

I'm 31 and have a 2013 WRX that is currently Cobb Stage I. Downpipe is in the mail so within a week she will be Stage II

Exterior mods:

Grimmspeed front license plate relocation kit, because the stock location makes no sense and looks horribad.

Cobb front license plate delete.

All of my other mods will be under the hood or suspension wise

Looks like I'm the old man here. I just don't want to look like that creepy old man trying to look cool in his wannabe sports car.

53, stock 2013 WRX silver wagon. Had a 2005 WRX wagon at 44, just traded it in for the same thing, but new.

Turning 30 in 2 weeks and the hatch is about to roll over 50k. Aiming for the high mileage club.

Today is my b-day... I'm officially 30!

I have 3 Subarus, but my baby is my 02 wrx. I bought it with 8k miles on the odometer. The chassis now has 140k miles on it (hit 140000 last sunday while racing autocross). It was swapped with an 04 sti at 120k and is set up for rallycross. The mod list is too long to write out quickly, and I don't want to even start adding up how much money and time I have in the thing.

So if I had my 1st Rex at 44 and my 2nd at 53, that's a new one every 9 years. At my rate, you'll be on your 3rd Rex when you're 53. By then you'll be deciding whether to trade it in to get the WRX III that "only" hovers at 2 feet off the ground, or the Sti III with optional flux capacitor, which will hover at 5 feet and be able to hover on snow and water.

I will be turning 34 at the end of June. I just bought my first WRX last week.

I owned a 09 Impreza a few years back.

I like my cars to be simples, clean and beautiful.

12 WRX

I'm 29, so close enough. 04 WRX wagon, stage 2 with lots more planned. No intention of getting rid of the car. So If I'm rockin' it in another 20 years with antique plates, awesome.

Has anyone watched the British Top Gear where they were in Africa trying to find the Nile source and Hammond shows up in a wrx? Jeremy called it a car for old professors or something to that effect. After that I noticed around St Louis that a lot of wrx's are indeed driven by older men in "professor" type attire. My wife and I laugh about it every time we see one...and also because we are getting one this week and I am a 28 year old historian

40 here, second Subaru. This is a couple shots of my '13 WRX my wife and I purchased new a couple months ago.

Current mods include the following, Process West TMIC, Cobb AP, Invidia catless downpipe and N1 street exhaust, Grimmspeed crosspipe, Perrin pulley, AEM intake, Perrin silicone radiator hoses, Perrin coolant tank, Mishimoto radiator and fans, SPT Boost gauge and AEM wideband gauge in a SMY gauge cluster.

Exterior has STI Spec C wheels, STI front lip and waiting for the Brembo gold calipers and slotted rotors to come off backorder here in the next month.

Of course many more to go but I am building a shortblock and heads to go into the car so all mods will easily swap over to the build and turbo and fueling mods will wait until then.

Lol, right! However on TG Jeremy was being sarcastic saying it was "driven by ameritorious professors everywhere." What he was really saying is it's "driven by yabo's in stolen hoodies!" It's well known jeremy has no respect for tuner cars.

36yo, invidia tbe, aem intake, stage 2.

I'm 28 and will have my '07 WRX paid off in 18 months. When I turn 30 I plan on picking up the current model WRX/STI and will hopefully have that until my late 30's. turbo Subaru's are just great cars to have, especially here in the rockies. Chances are the next one won't be my last either.
