Thank you for your reply, lox! It'll be nice to be get back and start driving and breaking her in. More importantly though, I can't wait to see my family. I have a lot to look forward to, and it's definitely worth the wait! 4 more months!

30. Have white 07 wrx/sti. I always wanted one. Picked it up 3 years ago. Car is heavily modded and runs with no problems. Wanted something 4 door for my kid and something with a little power. Running a Gt35r on it. Runs strong and puts a smile on my face everytime. :-)

Over 30 here too. Second WRX owned during my thirties... Only mods so far on my new (to me) 2005 are APS exhaust (turbo-back), '04-'05 STi BBS rims painted white, Rally Armor mudflaps, intake silencer box removed, HID headlamp conversion.

I desperately want a short-throw shifter next because I had one in my old bugeye, and MAN does that make a huge difference!

holy crap... just noticed how old this thread actually is. It is approaching 30 too now.

I'm 30 and after owning a 99 RS Coupe and a 2006 STi, I am now in a 2007 STi. I've been driving an impreza for just about a decade now and have loved every minute of it!!

I have spent upwards of $18,000 and still modding. I can't wait to buy the newest wrx to drive daily and turn my 08 into an all out race car.

I'm 34 with an 09 WRX Hatchback premium model. I had 2 WRX's and 2 Legacy's before this. First 2 were the Sonic Yellow WRX 03, flood water totaled the first one and stupid shop ruined my second one.....changed the timing belt but did not change the old tensioner for it (shop was Kaizen Tunning, don't ever go there!) Legacys were ok but sold them, wasn't really my type of car more my wife's. So.....we have a DGM WRX and a DGM Chevy Trail Blazer (family ride of course).

This is my WRX -

I got my Sedan in July 01 too! sorry to hear yours didn't make it. Mine had 72k and 40k on a protune when I got the '13 limited WRB hatch. Did you get another sedan?

While I'm not 30, the doctor I job shadow drives a modded 2012 STi and he's 44. That guy is my hero, even with his money and age he still drives a Subie, although he does talk quite often of trading it in for a gtr or r8.

I'm 32 and drive a 2011 STI. I traded in my Z06 to get it. We had a kid on the way and it was more family friendly. It's not as fast and raw as my 560rwhp Z was, but the fun factor is still the same.

I'm 44 and just bought a 2013 STi. Wanted one since they came out. Sold my 2011 mustang GT which had 100 more HP/tq but the STi is more practical and I think more fun to drive. One of my neighbors is 70 and he has a 2012 STi as well! He also has a sick Lotus race car, but that's another story!

Just turned 30. Have an order for a '14 SWP STi. It will replace my '11 Mustang GT as the DD now that we just recently had our first child. The STi will be a nice complement to my other baby, my '98 Viper GTS.

I'm 38 2011 STI limited DGM Stage 2 pro tuned Its my most favorite car to drive absolutely love this car. I'm a mechanic so when the time and money permits I'd like to build the motor too! Its ironic that I bought this car to be my DD so that I could take my twin turbo'd 05 GTO to the next level of craziness and I started tinkering with the STI.....

Closing in on 50, engineer/manager. All my coworkers drive Audi's or BMW's, I don't care. I had a long talk with a guy I have worked with for 25+ years, telling him he was stupid to sell his Mustang GT last year to buy a 5 series ("other managers and clients just aren't taking me seriously"). His loss.
I love my red 2011 WRX. It is currently Stage 1, with stage 2 by EOY. I am a child of rallying (watched killer group b's when younger & wrenching on SCCA teams), and my current project is fabb'ing a good looking bracket to mount 7" hella's on the front. Most coworkers think my car is too loud, too, but they are used to it/me by now. My previous car was a yellow modd'ed svt focus. Yeah, I was pulled over at 3am coming home from work once by an officer expecting to see a kid out after curfew! Surprise- old guy!

I went to a few local subi get togethers, and many owners were my kids' age. Yeah, did feel a bit out of place there- oh well!

Sometimes my 17yr old daughter & I both drive to the local classic/muscle car cruise-in (she has an L82 C3). Guys there are surprised at the teenage girl in the spotless C3, and the gray hair dad in the modded WRX!
