Goodbye 2.5Rs.

Well Damn,

I'm really going to miss this car. On my way to work on Tues. morning I had to swerve to miss an oncoming truck that had slid on ice into my lane and I ended up losing control and going down an embankment and slamming into a field at about 45mph. The car is a loss as it was paid off and I had Lilability Ins. only.

I'm heartbroken. I had just ordered paint to get the front fixed. This car ran F-in fantastic and even though it flew through the air, blew both airbags, busted the front end up, it still fired right up as soon as the key was turned.

I guess you guys can keep a lookout for a forsale/parting thread before too long. It's going to cost me to much to fix and I don't have the income nor the time and place. I really wish I could tear it down and swap it but I don't think it's going to happen.

man...I feel for you...thats a sick looking RS...I know i'd be heartbroken too if something happened to my RS...and mine doesnt even compare to yours

I would buy your coupe in a heartbeat but I got another car already. I need one for work.

Unless you want to by my R1? Maybe we could work something out. I have to sell it too. This whole event came at a really bad time.

Damn dude, sorry to hear about your misfortune. As others have said, at the very least your alright. Your RS sacrificed itself to keep you safe. Looked to be a really nice car...sorry man.

after looking at the pics, it doesnt look nearly as bad as i thought it would. no telling what happened to the underside of the car though...

Hey man,sorry to hear about your car,but its good your ok,i know its heartbreaking to lose your suby,i remember when i lost mine,luckly i found another 2wks later. Are you going to get another one,or do you have another already?

I went and bought a Luxo-cruiser. Its a Maxima, all the bells and whistles but its an auto, I needed something for work so I had to settle. I'll get another subaru sometime. I miss the burble and shifting gears already
