I purchased what was suppose to be STI "pinks" and received PE injectors instead. I called the vendor and was informed that these were like for like and would work with the COBB OTS map. The difference was at what pressure the injectors are tested at. PE tested at 38Ibs. and STI at 40Ibs. So PE rate at 510cc and STI at 565cc. This difference is due to testing pressure but apparently the same. Anyone using these PE injectors and having any issues? Thanks for any info./help.
PE INJECTORS are not the same as the sti injectors, the guy must be smoking crack .
I have PE 800cc injectors on my car and runs 100% idles 100%.
The key to setting up PE injectors is to have a tuner who knows what the hell they are doing ( AKA-proper scaling of injectors )
Make sure you find a tuner that has lots experience with PE injectors , otherwise they will never run wright.
Usually you want to stick as close the the map notes as possible. I would say its not a good idea to use those with the OTS map, however if you intend to use them the OTS map will probably be good enough to get you to a tuner
Well the PE injectors are being sent back in favor of Helix 820cc. Decided not to go with the VF34. Decided to go with EVOIII 16g and a map from surgeline tuning then make my way to portland for a tune.
