Default car running lousy

its been running very rough recently under acceleration. found out that both o2 sensors were bad replaced the front already, replacing the rear today. also installing some new 1step colder denso iridium plugs. this morning i some how accidentally bumped the map selector switch on my utec. i didnt notice it till i was accelerating and the hesitation was gone. i shut the car off changed maps to the number its usually set on and drove for a min or two and the hesitation was back....very starange. switched it back from map 2 to map 4 and no hesitation. i have no idea what is on map 4, and the map that is on #2 is either a base stg2 or stg3 from turboxs. i have never been pro tuned. i have no idea what could be wrong, has my utec taken a dump on me and map4 has nothing there and is just going off my factory ecu?? could someone shine some light on this problem. thanks

engine mods- blitz intake, grimmspeed intake pipe and ic hoses, ap crank pulley, ur alt pulley & power steering pulley, gt spec header/uppipe, perrin dp, hks catback, ported tb, pwr radiator, pulse plugs (switching back to iridium) utec.

You can use my UTEC Toolkit to compare the two maps and see exactly what the differences are. You can also view your Parameters in the Toolkit.

Sometimes simply reloading the same map into the same slot seems to cure some "phantom" issues.

I called turboxs today said i should download the latest software version on my utec. its about 5-6yrs old and i have never been protuned. anyway i was planning on doing some maintenance stuff today, replaced my plugs, a bad rear o2, cleaned my maf, and air filter. ive only put about 20miles on it since, so far no cel and its running surprisingly smooth. i need to get a serial to usb to connect my laptop to my utec.

does anyone on here share maps? how difficult is it to actually road tune my car?

thanks for your help.

You really need a wideband o2 sensor to tune yourself.
