Default Snow!

I get so excited when the white stuff falls to the ground. I turn into a little giggling girl!

Stay safe people, especially those who are going for the cruise tonite. Remember, snow tires + AWD != brains.

yup, don't go anywhere, >< Me still working @ Downtown till 7pm tonight ...ahh!!!
So snow storm tonight, and 20 cm snow is not a question...same as tmr, wind+snow.
Power/hydro outage is expected tmr morning... -8 degree C is the lowest...
Monday will be raining and 11 Cel degree, so no snow left on street!

Careful people and have fun tonight!

The snow looks awesome outside. I guess I'll be taking the 52-window coupe for a while.

Remember that AWD doesn't = completely invincible.

I always see a 4x4 or AWD car in the ditch first snowfall.

No, Skytrain will be up and running. It's been running since this morning so the tracks are being kept clear by the running trains.

It runs into problems when it gets cold over night and the trains aren't running which causes snow/ice to build up on the rails.

Eek. Im at UBC and theres ALOT of snow.

I'm running crap Falken Ziex 512 215/45/17 tires. What should my tire pressure be set in Winter conditions? I have it on 36F/33R at the moment.

Edit: Perhaps someone should post and sticky a thread on how to properly drive in the snow

^^ haha

factory settings for me should be 32F/29R. during cold conditions, I usually keep them a lil higher like 34F/31R. should I be doing something else?

Little known fact:
summer tires do not function in weather colder than 8 degree's. The rubber compound stays solid and is like driving on a incredibly hard rubber puck which has little give. I just was given a course on tires and such by a tire rep, and this is something I never thought much of....

I just went 45 degrees sideways on the 99, at 70kmh, in a top heavy lifted truck.
Dumbass me decided to take the truck out of 4wd, making the ass end super light when power was applied.

Thanks to some quick steering wheel inputs, I was able to get it back, but not after putting both back tires in the center island while the fronts were still on the highway. Kumakubo ain't got nothing on hypa, yo.

Although I had to change my drawers when I got home.
