Unhappy Don't wanna to take it like a porno star.

As the subject states, I need help with the price paid for your WRX. I'm not much of a negotiator when it comes to cars. I have read some previous post regarding which dealers to go to. It seems you guys are pretty tight lip about price paid.

What I want is a silver WRX, 5spd, 4door sedan. The only option that I want is the air filter upgrade. I donít want any dealer add on option and such.

Many of you are stating that you are getting anywhere between $200.00-600.00 over invoice. Does that mean you paid $22,500.00+$200.00+taxes and license? Are you paying the destination charges or dealer prep fee? What are is your out the door price?

Thanks for your time, Jay

Go to http://www.edmunds.com to find out how much you should pay for a car in your area. It's very helpful.

C'mon people...what did you pay for your REX? Please list your options, dealer location, etc...

I am getting the porno treatment as well, and will end up foregoing this new WRX if I cant get the price down off of whats on the sticker. Its B.S.

Thx.

I'm in the same boat you guys are in. I can't get the price I want locally and it's getting frustrating . BTW, everyone pays the destination charge, but the dealer prep charge is:monkey:

A lot of people don't like to tell others the price they got for the car because prices are personalized to each buyer and it would be unfair to the dealer and other buyers. If you don't like this system you can buy a car at Saturn or CarMax. I don't know about you people but the info that's on this site was enough to get me a price I was happy with. Go to www.edmunds.com and see what others around your area are paying on average and negotiate a price that's under 3% over invoice. If you can't get the price you want in your area, you can go on a roadtrip to New York and get one at an awesome price www.vanbortelsubaru.com (NY). I haven't heard of any trouble from peoople dealing with them.

Default SOLD!

I am going to start another thread about this...but wanted to convey my EXTREME satisfaction with Huffines Subaru. I dealt with them today (Chris Fleming and Kevin Heist aka Bankheist)... It was actually a FUN buying experience. I swear I will buy my next car there as well. If you are in DFW, and you arent trying to blow smoke up anyones ace...you seriously want to buy a car from CAR PEOPLE...not a plastic - suit with a fake smile...then you owe it to yourself to at least try them. More details in my fresh thread in the appropriate group.
