I found this a few weeks ago in Vegas.

I checked with an Alltel employee, they said it's fine. If needed, I can PM you the IMEI so you can call for yourself.

It is good as of now, but this is not a set it in your drawer and use as a spare kind of phone. If this esn is flagged you cannot use it later. If you buy it now, activate it now.

No. Being "active" is only if it is currently being used on the number. If they have it on their number and then it gets tagged they can still keep it, but if they were to ever change to another phone then it is worthless as it will never be able to be added to an account again.

I don't think it will be getting flagged if it hasn't already. Its in like perfect condition. Just needs a charger.

That is up to you and your buyer to worry and wonder about, but it happens. Keep in mind that with the Verizon merger things are a bit lax right now, it will tighten back up in the near future and Verizon may very well have a different policy for them (I.E. they remove the esn even if it is active).

FWIW, was on a business account. No insurance claim was done on it, so it will not automatically be added to the negative esn table. It is up to the business rep to add it. If the business rep is lazy, it will never get added. If the business rep is up on things, it will eventually.

Not trying to piss in anyones cheerios, but being realistic.
