Default 04/05 hoodscoop on bugeye

Anyone know if there are any DIY's or step by step's on how to fit an 04/05 STi hoodscoop on an 02/03 hood?

If anyone has done it before, is it hard to do?

WONT fit the scoops are year specific ie 02-03 only on 02-03 ect. However you can get a 04-05 style scoop for the bugeye. But my .02 go with the JDM Sti hoodscoop for the bugeye its pure sex and the lines flow better with the car

I know they wont fit, I want to modify it so they will. I have a machine shop and all the necessary tools to do so, I was just wondering if anyone knew of any instructions to do so.

I may look into the JDM Sti bugeye scoop, just trying to save some money.

If I was going to buy one I'd buy the JDM bug-eye. For the third time, I am asking if anyone knows of any DIY instructions to modify an 04/05 STi hoodscoop.

Repeat, I am not going to buy an 04/05 hoodscoop.

I wouldn't buy an 04/05 hood scoop I don't think they look right on bug eyes.

there is a DIY for a "lifted stock scoop" if you're asking how, just buy both and chop it up and fiberglass it, i did it, wasn't too hard, then i just bought a big bugeye STi scoop, much better

i heard that the bolt holes don't line up with the 04-05 sti scoops. if it's that simple you could just drill the hood.

The black bugeye has a 04/05 style scoop. It's a seibon piece that fits the factory bugeye hood scoop layout.
