Default Blouch 2.5 setup

Okay, so here's my whole setup. 93 and 100% meth.

Alkycontrol meth kit
Forge 100% recirc valve
Blouch 2.4in 8cm with turbo blanket
spearco tmic
aps 70mm cai
gimmick motorsports 2.4in turbo inlet
wrapped helix v3 catless dp
greddy ti catback
walbro fuel pump
Deatschwerks 740cc injectors
act street disc clutch
bc racing coilovers etc
boost oil pres egt gauge.
GM BCS
etc.

I have all the parts ordered and next week I am getting installed and tuned. I ran a 12.7 on just my stage 2 setup, which was helix catted tbe k&n typhoon fuel pump and tune. You guys think a 12.2 or so will be obtainable. Also, I am looking to have around 350whp. I will probably push 20 psi max, since this is my daily driver. You guys think I will need anything else?

I'll keep you guys posted on my setup. I might just go get it dyno'd that day too, just to see what numbers I will get and to see how my car is running.

Should be interesting to see the results. Seems like the 2.5 is just a bigger 20g checking in at a 47lb turbo.

IIRC it is a 20g hot side with a gt30 compressor

It is a hybrid like all stock locations have to be. It's a GT3071R compressor - smaller 71mm compressor wheel, specs out to 47lb/min, in a TD06 20G housing with an 8cm2. As close to a 'true' 71mm GT30R as you can get without going rotated.

That said, I mean the smaller compressor wheel: 53.1mm/71.0mm

The 60mm is the same on all 30R's...at least the Garrett ones.

Even with a conservative tune on that set up, you should be seeing the better half of 11s. I have a 20G 7cm and i'm looking to breaking into the 11s... YOOOU CAN DOOO EET!

Good luck though, and keep us posted. I'm anxious to see what this snail can do.

Don't know about mid 11's on pump in a full weight car, but either way it'll haul.

Just because you can't drive doesn't mean it can't happen. Is it a full weighter?

Street tune ftw. Dyno doesn't show realistic driving conditions.

I was thinking about doing a ported stock header from grimmspeed, but my numbers should be similar to yours.

...yeah.

Not saying it can't, but being realistic. Full weight is an assumption.

I'm sure I will be doing more than 289 no matter how low the dyno reads.

My best run when I had the 2.5r was [email protected] in my jdm ver 8/ppg boxed wrx. I honestly think the turbo would work better with the 2.5 motor and the smaller port heads. It seemed to fall off approaching 6500 or so which should actually make it about perfect for the usdm motors. For reference, I ran the same turbo on my ej205 stock tranny same car and went [email protected] Yours may well dip into the 11s if your handy with the 6 speed.

Wow. I can't wait until I get this on next week. How did you like the quick spool of the turbo?
