Question berkeley odb scanning

Hey guys,

I know i'm a lowly lurker

but i just moved to the bay (berkeley), and my '02 bugeye wrx is throwing a check engine light at me.

can somebody do me a tremendous favor and maybe read the code? I can bring beer :P or un-beer (for those underage).

thanks

I am sure you can go to AutoZone or something and borrow their OBDII scanner. I know some rent them out for a small fee or something.
