Major problems with turbo-back exhaust order from Renick Subaru
First of all, let me say that Brett at Renick Subaru has been pretty good throughout this ordeal but I think that Renick exercised poor judgement in choosing the source for the turbo-back exhaust system that they are offering in this thread:
I ordered one back in early March. My credit card was charged for the full amount at that time. Because Certified Muffler, the manufacturer of the unit, is in Margate Florida, and they were supposed to drop ship the exhaust to me in Orlando Florida, I figured it wouldn't take too long to get. WRONG! After 2 weeks of waitng with no conact from Renick or Certified, I started calling Renick to find out what was taking so long. Bret was unable to get any status from Certified so eventually they gave me Certified's phone number and I started calling them directly. I-club member TBreu007, who has the prototype system from Certified on his WRX, also got involved because he lives close to Certified (thanks, Tim!). No one could get a straight answer out of them. Several times they promised that the system was ready to be shipped out "the next day" but that never happened. Based on thier poor service and lack of communications, I've concluded that Certified is totally unprepared to handle anything other than a local one-at-a-time customer base. They don't appear to be ready for the requirements of being a supplier to Renick or any other national dealer.
With much disappointment, I canceled my order today. Too many excuses, too much delay - bummer! Bret issued a credit for the exhaust and appologized. However, I think Renick or any other reputable parts dealer should check out their suppiers carefully before they offer products on the internet or any mass sales media. I will go with a known manufacturer (haven't decided which at this time) with a good reputation. Unfortunately this has caused a huge delay in getting the exhaust upgrade that I should have had by now!

Fist off i would like to apologize for the problems that have came about with Certified Muffler. I did do alot of research to find a company that would be able to make a quality product for a reasonable price. I was turned on to Certified Muffler by anothe I-Club Vendor that had been in business with Certified Muffler for 4 years now. I am not going to say who to keep the wonderful comments that are about to start. I had spken to them today and found that Certified Muffler just lost one of it partners and took on a new partner and a new secretary. I am not going to be doing any further business with them and appologize for the problems that this has caused. I will be looking for another manufacture of a system similar to the system that was offered. If you have any questions or comments please direct them to Parts@RenickSubaru.com..

I got my Tanabe Super Racing Medallion from Brett and everything went smooth. I also purchased a Stromung Catless dp at the same time and everything also went well.
