pretty cool little course. needs to have a drivers meeting and course walk-through, and if you want to run, you have to be there for the meeting and course walk-through. saw some drivers repeatedly getting lost on a simple looking layout.

That would probably be hard to do with the fact that people can't all get there at 5:00. Drivers should really watch people run the course when they show up. Everyone was just trying to drive right in and wait in line to run instead of watching others and getting an idea of the course before they run. A friend of mine actually ran the course in reverse on his first run!

All in all it was a gret time though. Very good alternative to bithlo.

I seriously had so much fun.. I'll probably be out there every Friday night. The people that got lost on course tried to show off and take it too fast.. Literally all you have to do is run through it twice at a mediocre pace to really get the course. By the end of the night I was flying. Amanda did AWESOME as well, I don't think she lost to anyone after she got 2 runs in, I'm very proud of her.

I got there around 5:30 and stayed 'til 8:30

It was a riot! I was almost more fun taking a ride through in my friend's V6 Mustang... More scary as a passenger than a driver. Of course, then I took him for a ride in the hatch from hell. I don't understand why people are so terrified of my driving? I just treated the car like a go kart... I tried to hit more cones, but they kept skittering out of the way.

wrxwhat and Diebel are right, honestly, you'd be better off parking and watching it for 5 minutes, then just coasting through it twice. It's not complicated, but in a rush, it can confuse you. And if you do stray off course, it's harder to see where the course is to get back into it.

All in all, a real good time. Congrats on getting your zoning, CFRC! Thank you Kamispeed for hosting this.

I got 10 or so. I parked for a while, and rode in a friend's car a few times. It wasn't crowded, and worth every penny of it.

I believe the grudge match was Surfwalden vs. you (AKA the guy with the family Infiniti)

My money would be on the wagon...

Leo needs to head down there vs. Slowscooby... If he isn't afraid, that is...

All I know is, Trevor's girlfriend is probably faster than all three of you.

Sedans, wagons, hatches, blimps, tugboats.

Bring it.

Ok as discussed last night, im willing to bet the 400rwhp STI of Slowscooby vs a stock gto on sticky tires. Just say when baby

And the Infiniti against the wagon should be a quick kill for the luxo barge Just gotta remember to take all the crap out of it this time.

Sweet! Too bad I live in Indy. Back in NY we did this and called it a Mirrorkhana. Depending on SCCA class, the faster car had to start "x" feet behind the common start line. You had an additional 40 ft handicap for a person using R-comps if the other person didn't have them.

Instead of 2 courses, we had 1 large course. We started 20 ft apart sideways facing each other. Both cars ran though both sides of the course (so it was like running 2 courses) and the first person to cross their finish line first won.

Hey guys,

So Friday was a killer time. Maybe Because there wasn't many people out there!

I think there is room for improvement.

And we appreciate everyone's opinion. The lighting will be improved by next week, The lighting company didn't make it out on time for the previous event but this week should be different.

I agree with the cones! lol, For someone that spun out himself; lol
Talk to the owner, he said there will be much more improvements soon.

As far as the "timing" Timing, won't happen for another week. They just got passed to use the course for Events, and racing.
But they have to wait 15 days before they are permitted to. When using a Stop watch, Technically it's considered racing, therefore we can't time anyone yet.

Thanks guys for a great time! Glad you had a blast!

Any suggestions would be great! Keep me posted!

Adam

Lighting didn't bother me, but I know a few people that can't see as well at night might have a problem. If you know your limits and drive within them, then you're going to be fine with the tire walls.

Best 25$ I've spent doing car ****.
