Default FS: Wilwood 4 Pot Big Brake kit - 2 Piece Rotors - 2 sets Pads - Stainless lines

Front Set:
4 Piston Billet Aluminum Dynapro Calipers;
Two Piece Aluminum Hats and 12.2" GT Directional Vane Rotors
5x100 Bolt Pattern - fits 2002 and newer WRX and others
Stainless Steel Brake Lines also included
Two sets of pads, one higher temp set and a second low dust ceramic set for the street.
Includes Billet Aluminum Mounting Brackets and all hardware.

$850 shipped to the lower 48 or BO

Rotors measure 98% of original thickness after having them scuffed at Phoenix Performance.

BP-10 Pads measure 94% of original thickness.
Polymatrix Q Ceramic Pads measure 98% of original thickness.

Had these sold and then the buyer and I noticed the left and right caliper had different engravings. One caliper is on its way back to Wilwood and will be replaced with a new matching one. It should be back by the beginning of next week.

Pictures on their way. I'm selling them in order to run SCCA SOLO D stock class.

To show the difference in metallurgy vs. stock, even after a weekend of down pouring rain, just a few spots, the stock rotors would have been layered in rust.

You can also see why I switched to the Poly Q pads for low dust and better cold bite. These were the BP-10 pads.

The Kit:

http://www.perrinperformance.com/pro...ry=66&model=18

Front brake kits do not include flex lines. OEM brake lines will not adapt to Wilwood calipers. Check the
assembly instructions, or associated components section for brake line recommendations before assembly.
In addition, Wilwood offers an extensive listing of brake lines and fittings on our web site: www.wilwood.com.

Add the Lines:
http://www.importparts.com/shop/prod...oducts_id=5917

Add the Second set of Pads:
http://www.importparts.com/shop/prod...oducts_id=5909

And you're over $1200 before shipping.

So figure you're saving about $400 shipped. Not bad, considering the new ones would look the same after three months use. Less than 5000 miles on these total, second set of pads has maybe 700 miles on them, .588 out of .600.

You say you are switching in class, does that mean you are switching to 4 pots? If so, I have a set of four pot currently on my car Id be willing to trade with your + some cash from my end. I dont know what the different classes require, so im kinda just guessing with this post. Otherwise, if I can sell my setup, I would be very interested in yours. You say it will bolt right up to a 2002 WRX? PM me if you get a chance...

BTW: My current Setup is...
JDM Four Pot Calipers with the raised lettering (Black)
DBA 4000 Rotors (Perfect condition - light driving only)
(I also have a set of new stock rotors to fit with only about 4000 Miles on them - Never Turned)
(I also have a set of Cross Drilled and Slotted Rotors with about 20K Miles on them - Probably need to be turned, never have been before)
Pads: Hawk HP pads (New - Had them on the car for about 500 miles)
(I also have a set of organic pads for every day driving)

I went back to stock Legacy GT calipers and rotors which are the same size, though not even close in stopping power. The two piece rotors would move me all the way up to Street Modified, three classes up from stock (Street Stock, Street Touring, Street Prepared, Street Modified). Have to be stock calipers for stock class, you can run different pads, but not slotted or drilled rotors.

Blast! So much for any kind of trade unless you are looking for a second set. Wish I had the $ from my end for ya. I'd love to go to the bigger brake setup. Good luck with your sale.

What thickness rotors does this come with? Wildwood offers three sizes for the dynapro caliper.

Does this kit have the SS pistons?

These are the .81 rotors, low maintenance dust booted calipers as shown.
