Currently maroon with paint flaking showing primer gray underneath.
No rust on the main cab, but rust is starting to show on the rear bumper and fenders. It has been hand sanded on top of the cab, and primed gray. Extended cab, 5 speed, 4 cyl, 2wd 18x,xxx miles. The good: -New tires -New coil packs -New ignition module -New relays -New battery cable and connections -New fuel filter -New plug wires -New spark plugs -New clutch, throw out bearing, pressure plate, pilot bearing -New slave cyl -New clutch fluid -New brake fluid -New hard brake lines (front and rear) -Newer pads up front -Clean interior, no rips or tears or major stains in seats -Nice CD player / stereo with remote -New rear main seal -New rear main trans seal -New u joints -New center carrier bearing for drive shaft -New trans fluid -New timing belt & tensioner -New Alternator -Oil changed every 3000 miles with WIX gold filter and napa 10w30 winter & Napa 15w40 summer. -The only 4 banger ranger that I have seen that will do 80mph on the highway -22-25+ miles to the gallon The bad: -AC system is intact, but not working -Missing drivers side window crank -Paint could use some help -As stated up top, starting to show some rust -Bed shell not the best shape, but is water tight (no leaks that I know of) -Rear bumper needs some attention as it rattles -Tail gate handle is sticky -Ebrake handle is broke, but there is a lever there you can still release the ebrake without problem. -Truck's brakes I know are in good mechanical order, but they feel "mooshy". May need bled again -Steering wheel is caddy-wampus when they changed the pitman arm years ago. Wheel is crooked, truck goes straight, wheels & tires are straight -I had the radiator ends re-crimped by a company in Columbus. Either they didn't do it right, or it might be time for a new radiator. Looses coolant visibly on the ground every 3000 miles -Will need shocks here soon along with an exhaust As you can see from me replacing most mechanical wear components, this is a good solid mechanical truck. Not going to win beauty contests. But, no one is going to steal it either, and the wife won't get mad when you throw your junk in the back. At 22-25+ miles to the gallon driving to and from work, you can't go wrong! Clean Indiana title, title in hand. Asking $1500 obo.
