Question Raleigh/Durham Install day April 14th

Wondering if we can get a group of Subie owners together somewhere this Sunday for an "install" meet. I'm free all day (I work 9-9 every day until then) so anytime would be cool. I think it would be a lot of fun getting together to do some wrenching and chilling out with some fellow rexers. Tonight Jeremy (2.5 RRRRS) and I got together at around 7:45 and shot the ****, had a bite to eat and checked out each others WRX's and I had a great time.

So.... anyone up for it? Time? Place?

I'm going to try to make it to Charlotte for this so if you have an install day I probably wont be there.

BullsWRX - let me know how that oil pressure guage install goes, I'm planning that in the near future too. What guage are you using?

I've got the VDO gauge & sender, seems like the hardest part for me was finding a 1/8th BSP to 1/8th NPT adapter. I basicly had to go to a hydraulics part store and go threw many drawers of adapters til we found the correct one. It seems to me BSP is no where near as popular as BSPT (tapered)

Anyways... should be fairly easy, I'll PM ya sunday night.

thanks, I lost my last engine due to an oil pump failure, and don 't want it to ever happen again.
Evan
Oh, this was the engine in my old CRX, not the RS.

I just installed my WRX/ Legacy rotor upgrade yesterday. Planning to install my stainless lines and refill with Motul 600 tomorrow. I'm free on Sunday, as far as I know. Got a (barely) one car garage and plenty of yard. Anybody want to travel to Four Oaks? I'm out in the country - that would be bum-eff to you city-dwellers out there.

I'll check back to see if this thread becomes a plan. Love to meet some of you guys and be glad to help with any installs that I'm qualified for, wherever the meeting place is.

Wohoo, we got Jim's boost gauge and MBC installed today. We also had time to do a little testing after the tuning. Nothing like a one lane bridge into a 90 degree turn.
