Default has anybody came across this? radiator hose!!!

ok guys so im in the break in of my new built motor , and everything seems ok . i installed a koyo radiator for my current set up along with the gates radiator hoses and factory fans. Everything seem ok after 500miles i decided to go wot at 18 psi for a bit to see how it handle , everything felt ok so as the readings of my gauges. When i came back decided to check the engie bay , and to my surprise i found shavings of blue plastic on my alternator and front of motor area , not a hole lot but it was noticeable. So i started looking and realized that the top radiator hose wich is blue was hitting the fan on the radiator . Now my question has anybody come across this ? I did trim the hose the first time I installed it, to make up space because of the new radiator. The hose need to bee trimed in order to fit propertly . This was done but still the fans hit the hose . I thik the hose is not inflating or anyhtig like that , or else im screwed but i doubt it ,any inputs?

same here. have a koyo 3" in a 2003 wrx, i'm not sure how much the samco ones expand but in my case the stock ones did expand over time. when i installed it new, there was 1/2" clearance to the fan. after some months it started touching the fan.

thanks guys for your replys , i think the problem is the koyo rad is very big and does not leave you with much room to play specially with the stock fans , let you guys know if i correct this !!!

Same as them. Trim the engine side of the hose so it pulls it away from the fan blades.
