Question Can I put 97 a ej25 in a 99 legacy?

Ok guys I want to know if I can put a 97 ej25 legacy auto dhoc engine from a wagon in a 99 legacy gt 5 speed wagon?
I know the caniter in the 97 is in the front and in the 99 is in the rear,do I just have to swap the intake mainifold?
Help me out guy on what I have to do to make this swap work,

It will swap right over not problem. You can just leave they extra canister, it won't matter, or you can loop the hose back in on itself.

ummmmmmmmm nope well ya you eithier have to swap the shortblock or engine harness and splice in the coil, tps and IAC it is not a straight swap i just made a thread about this

Not sure about up there in crazy Canada, but here in the US the '97 and '99 2.5s were the same DOHC engines. I know, because I've had both a '99 and a '97 2.5GT sedan.
