Default Gas Tanks

Hey guys,
I am having a dilemma w/ the gas tank situation for my swap. I am swapping a 02-03 WRX into my '95 Legacy. My friend said to make it easier I can keep the Legacy gas tank, and wire the WRX harness to it. The problem is the sensors and off in my Legacy and the gas gauge gives me weird readings. So can I just remove the Legacy sensors and just add the WRX ones? will they fit? or do I have to swap over the WRX gas tank? would that be easier than messing with all the sensors?
-Thanks
Josh

will I have to take the gas tank out to check the sensors or can I do it without removing the tank?

There's a cap in the trunk under the trunk liner on the flooring. You'll un bolt the I think it is 6 bolts and lift the cover and pump assembly. On and make sure to unplug the pump controler and run the car till it stalls out. That will clear out the fuel lines other than the return line.
