Default Can you put an STI crossmember on a 2000 2.5rs /w the stock RS stuff?

I have a 2000 2.5rs. I'm going to be putting all of my 07 6 speed stuff, including front sway bar, lower control arms, etc. on it in the coming weeks. I am wondering if I can go ahead and put the front cross member from the STI onto the RS. Eventually the RS will be getting a full steering rack, etc. from an STI but for now I was going to keep the steering rack, exhaust, motor, etc. stock and just do the drivetrain stuff. Can I go ahead and put on the STI front crossmember and just hook all of the RS stuff up to it? That way I don't have to mess with it later. Otherwise I keep the RS cross member on then and possibly have problems hooking up my STI stuff?

The swaybar won't fit, the turbo ones are different. The control arms are different too but you can shim the rs ones with some washers to fit in the turbo crossmember. I'm not sure on the rack.

not possible, your problem will be with the exhaust. The RS exhaust will not fit with the STi subframe or Sti sway bar and vice versa.

Thanks. Not gonna mess with it now. I'll just swap it when I get to the steering rack swap.
