Question wrx brakes on 96 impreza L?

I know you can do it but will my axles work? Are the splines the same count and size as 02 WRX?

You can use your same spindles/hubs, just bolt on the new caliper brackets, calipers, and rotors.

But to answer your question, if you're swapping the hubs as well, yes, your axles will work. A gear puller will help get the axles out of the hubs if they've seen any salt- don't bang too hard on the end of the stub, you'll mushroom it and won't be able to get a new nut on there.

Thanks for the info. I have had them apart before, not to bad. I can get RS rear discs or the whole WRX setup but there is a lot more aftermarket/upgrades available for wrx.
