whats the best engine to swap, im gonna have enough to do the swap this summer, but still cant decide which route to go, i know i want a 2.5l instead of the 2.0, i was thinking about looking for an 06 wrx thats doing a complete part out.....

will a EJ257 work with phase II heads? i head that the crank sensors are different in the EJ257 compered to the EJ253? Basicly will a EJ257 bolt up and work with the 05 and up (2.5RS/i)

I have an 04 STi ECU and engine wiring harness that I've been considering parting with as they no longer fit my goals.
That way fitment is no longer an issue. |

i was thinking about doing the same thing with an ej251, but will it swap, my dad suggested getting a ej253 out of a donor car and rebuilding the block to take boost, but im trying to stay in about the same price range of 2500

so could i rebuild a stock block out of an 07 2.5 to be able to take over 5 or 6 psi of boost, id like to push over ten really
