Default Casting deficiency or what?

I was looking at the bottom end of this ej22e block and noticed these cracks all over the place. The ones in the pics of course are at the bottom of the cylinders, but the cracks were up on the sides and in the corners in the "hull" as well. I would be more worried if this was on the other end of the block, but thought I'd throw this up to see if anyone else has seen this.

That looks like raised flash, not a crack. If it is above the surface don't worry. If it is a fissure not so good.

I was sure those were cracks but before I said anything I went back out and checked again, you were right! My eyes deceived me.
