Default OT: free Boston Pizza promo

My cousin showed this to me last night. Text the word 'nucks' to 51945. You will get a text back saying:

"thx 4 txting! $0.50/entry. Free small pizza at any LML Boston Pizza w/in 24hrs. 1/table, dine in only, w/ beverage purchase"

Just show them the text message and your done. I think it also enters you into a draw for Canucks tickets, big screen tv's, etc..

I have to agree, I had a pulled pork sandwich last weekend and it tasted like canned dog food with a bad BBQ sauce.

For sure, I have never ever ever (I've only been 3-4 times) had a good meal at a Boston pizza. They seem to be able to screw up an unscrewable meal...their pasta sucks, their pizza sucks and their salad sucks (the only things I had). And all the waitresses were tubby and ugly.

There are way better restaurants out there to choose from, especially when you consider value for money... BP's food isn't cheap.

You can go to Cactus Club for pretty much the same price and have hot waitresses (somehow I always get stuck with the one DUDE that works there though...) and the food is actually pretty good (lots of healthy choices, good selections and tasty).

I guess I just eat out too much at good places that serve good food. If you want cheap go get some Pho Bich NGAAAAAAA!

#1 - If i wanted hot girls I'd go to the titty bar....if anything i would rather not have attractive waitresses as i always get coerced by their friendliness and hotness and end up tipping way too much....man mother**** that....

#2 - It's too ****ing dark in there

#3 - healthy choices? do not want....if i wanted healthy food i'd stay home and eat carrots

lol.....i eat out a lot too....every day at lunch....but i guess my standards are pretty low compared to most people on here.....but i swear to god if u start talking **** about Red Robin i will end it all tonight...bleu ribbon burger FTMFW!

I think I have been spoiled with good food. I was brought up eating healthy and never got into the whole McD's thing. I could EASILY talk smack about Dead Robbin...but I won't.

CC is too dark for what? Boston is too bright, if it was darker maybe you wouldn't notice how disgusting the food is and what it does to your skin (take a look at the number of pimples on the staff...)

Mmm...I could go for some Pho or Ramen for lunch. I found a good little joint on Broadway and Cambie called Menya (or Menja...can't remember). Japanese staff AND customers (usually a sign of legit Japanese food).

on the north shore, go to Nishiki. on marine drive b/t 13th and 14th street.
I realllly like their stuff and quite affordable

Menya ramen...their $10 combo is quite filling! Have you tried Benkei downtown? It's on Robson near Denman (where all the ramen joints are), not too shabby.

Toratatsu used to serve this wickedly good ramen after midnight (wasn't on the menu) but they took it off.

Jockey_Lady (yes, it is time for a name change), Nishiki is actually Korean owned. Very good Sushi for the buck but not Japanese. The two best Japanese owned and run Sushi joints on the North Shore are Hamaei in the Westview Mall and Mori Sushi on Capilano Road just before the Dam.

Geiho, I haven't tried Benkei yet, will do.

Oh, Jockey, there are actually heaps of Japanese owned and run joints around, it's just that there are more Chinese/Korean or other joints.

A list of my fav's in no order:

- Guu (all)
- Hapa Izakaya (Japanese/Canadian)
- Tojo's (over priced but some very good stuff)
- Octopus something...expensive but very good Sushi. Mr. Tojo's recommendation.
- Zakkushi
- Kingyo
- Menya for a quickie and cause there is one really cute waitress.
- Bearfoot for your typical Japanese family restaurant style food (Davie and almost Denman....below decks (get it...ah ha).

Mmm.....that's it for now.
