Ok, so I have been building my block for 8 months and I finally get to the last few steps, priming the oil and whatnot.
This car has sat for 8 months with no battery or motor, etc. It did have gas in the tank, and all the fuel components worked great before the old motor came out. Things that have changed since it last worked: new motor no tgv's or motors/etc no ac no rear o2 (for the moment) no maf new fuel filter new fuel rails new injectors new FPR now, I know what you're thinking, but I took the main line off the filter and no fuel there, so what do you think may be causing this. One theory is the walbro has blown seals from sitting in 8 mo old gas. Dumb things I haven't checked yet: I haven't pulled the pump yet (its raining but this is first on the list) Clean out gas tank and refill pull line off pump and check for fuel. I tried using an OBDii scanner to see if it was pulling codes, but it keeps getting errors... Will try using the tactrix to read what map is on there, but that shouldn't keep fuel from making it into the engine bay...

When you turn the car on (not cranking it), do you hear the pump in the back go on for 4-5 sec? If not, than you're power to the gas pump is not working, start there and work your way the line....

My guess, you have put the fuel lines on backwards. Ie the feed is connected to the wrong side of the FPR and the return is connected to the feed side.

And connected to the FPR the right way, the FPR should be on the return rail.
Oh and connect up the MAF sensor, the subaru hates running without a MAF. I should have spotted this the first time around |
