Default 02 WRX wagon muffler on 02 OBS ... anyone done it?

My buddy has offered me the dual tip muffler off his 02 WRX wagon for my 02 OBS. Has anyone actually done it?

Note, this is WRX wagon to OBS (Impreza) wagon ... not sedan.

i think the only difference is the slight angle change on the flange, give it a go, and let us know.

Talking some help

I know it's not exactly what you're looking for, but I think the exhausts are similar/same between the wagons and their sedan counterparts...

I got a WRX sedan muffler put on my 2002 RS sedan. Here's the result:

Bottom line: Flange on the muffler is slightly off, an easy fix for any shop. The hangers lined up perfectly. Looks much better, sound is cool but not anywhere near loud, performance? dunno. It's worth it for the look & sound, IMO.

Have fun!

If you have to pay for it, its not worth it (no HP gains and wont sound better), but if its free, I say get it for looks.
