WTB: RS Exhaust and might need some opinion on ticket!

Just got my ticket today for modified exhaust and unseatbelt,
FUUCK! and i'm not sure what is the damage i will expect to pay!

the code section i got is 27315- Unseatbelt
and 27151 is for the modified exhaust,

can anyone here can spare me some tips for this situation!

i really need to look for your OEM Exhaust! PM me if you plan to get rip off it!

So they cite you for an exchaust that produces ' any excessive or unusual noise'

Is there a provision to pay it? If not it like my front windows tinting thing that the only option is to wait for the letter from the DMV/court and that will give you the options.

The question is is your exchaust louder than the limit (95db etc etc).

Obvioully the officer thought so. So you have to find out how do you test and prove that it is or it is not. If indeed it is slap the OEM on certifiy it and then you make the decision.

Don't you love DMV laws that you have to prove that you are innocent.

How modified is your exhaust

cat-back systems are 100% legal in california, as long as they meet the 95db maximum requirement.

I can send you the two .PDF documents to prove this in court.

Though, if you were over 95db, or they can prove you had headers or a replaced cat. then sorry, but your screwed.

i do have the silencer on...but the damn cop still gave me the ticket just by looking on my muffler and told me that i have the modifield exhaust...
but how can i test to meetthe 95db!
