I just wanted to introduce my self. I bought an 08 Subaru Impreza 2.5I Sport 5 dr in july 08. I love my car, it is excellent in all weather conditions! Especially in the snow that we get here in the Atlantic Provinces. It fits my needs, i bought the hatch instead of the sedan for the extra room. And the fact the hatch didn't come with the ground kit and rear defuser. I found the rear end of the sedan a bit bland. No offense to anyone, just my opinion. I was going to buy a 07 sedan but a got an 08 for the same price. So my future plans for the car are a set of 18" gold rims, tint the windows and intake. I have an idea of trying to find a stock STi Quad tip exhaust and fabbing it to fit. Well here's some pics of my car!

Nice car and welcome to nasioc. When you get a chance, do something with those taillights. Either tint them red or black. Enjoy!

I was going to take the tail light out and spray the inside black. But tinting would be a good idea! Red would look good so would black...man the decisions! also all the chrome pieces are going to be swapped out for Carbon Fiber.

i was just going to say this when i saw your post

your car is running pretty lean out of the box... from what i have been researching the intake is little/no help and if done wrong... negative effects. congrats on the buy, i like the sedan because its a bit more uncommon but i do agree, it needs some help. the tints really did work wonders asthetically for my sedan IMO and when i debadge next weekend... it should be better. also painted that horrific chrome strip which looks pretty nice

must
stick
to
budget
stop spending money. (to myself)

welcome!!!!! get snow tires on those stockers and all seasons/sport tires on the gold wheels, Im doing exactly the same thing. Rota 18x8.5 G-force in gold

thanks for that info!! Also those G-force are what i like the best in gold. So i might have a pair as well, and the snow tires on the stockers have been my main idea since the beginning, great minds think alike! lol. Also help on keeping the new 18''s the same circumfrence of the original wheels? Like what size tire to run, i was going to sit down and figure it out one night this week.
