Any significant changes from the HFS-5 that would make an upgrade worthwhile?

if you have an HFS-5 I wouldn't upgrade, the HFS-5 set the bar for the industry, onlyl main diff is line pressure, which isn't an issue unless you are running out of line pressure on the 5 (there are only a handful of 4 cyl cars I've ever seen do this)

but if you haven't gotten an HFS-5, or are looking for new, then yes, upgrade, this is the one to get.

the HFS-5 is still awesome, this is a simpler install for street cars (which was the major PITA with the HFS-5)

the main reason to get an HFS-5 is because you can have it now, vs one month later, and its "well developed" not brand new. Once we run out of 5s we wont be getting any more. I think we have a few left.

alright, that's about what I figured. my flow rate caps out around halfway on the gauge, so I don't think my system is being run very hard.

Hi,

Based on the "guinea pig" comment above, we felt like we needed to add a quick comment here...

We do not need to learn on your dollar guys... we will not sell or install any units until we actually put it on one of our cars and have %100 confidence in them. However, the product is from a "quality producer" and we don't expect to be dealing with any new issues; the new unit is supposed to be an improvement over the HFS-5.

The first batch has already been shipped out for North America and ALL units are already sold out, there's a few left in the second batch, which is supposed to arrive in late April with Rocket Rally/your names on it. The next order after that will be almost another month or even more.

We still have the 12L JDM Spec-C tanks in stock, also going fast, if you want one, get your orders to us soon!

Cheers,

Rocket Rally Racing

Just #$%# and giggles. Not worried at all. That being said, you can put it in my car first to test it

Already got he 12L tank but do highly recommend it to others!

Anyone in first batch mind trading to second batch? Let me know

Is Turbo Blue Washer Fluid Rocket Rally's recommended product?

I dont think its called Turbo Blue but maybe it is, but its sold at Lordco and at Chevron, and DO NOT GET THE GREEN ONE, and its not 40/60 but 30/70, its the "up to -30 windshield washer fluid"

you can also mix yourself

as long as you consistently get the same stuff, when we tune the car for whatever is in the tank, once tuned and you keep the same stuff it will be fine (i.e if you want all water, fine, if you do a manual mix, fine, if you buy a product, fine, but we wont tune it with any off the shelf BC purchased product except this stuff)

the only negative to the blue stuff is you get a blui-sih intake (inside) and some minor detergents, if you want to be a purist you can buy methyl hydrate and self-mix. the blue is alot easier/simpler for most folks.

This one? I hope not because it's ethylene glycol based.

What about Snow Performance "Boost Juice". I found a local supplier at $18 a jug.

Still thinking of self mixing but just trying to figure the best way to keep the water the same "brand".

That sounds pretty expensive, especially if you have to fill every 1-3 tanks of gas...(depends how you drive but...). Compared to a few dollars for windshield wash fluid...$$$.

18$? It's just a 50/50 mix. You can get the turbo power windshield washer fluid for like $12 a box. That's 4 gallons. OR 2.99 a jug.
